Internal home network use IE browser , type default IP address: http://192.168.1.100  or http://192.168.0.100, Activx will need to be clicked to run and install for the first time connection.

default web port :80 ,  need to be changed to different port number ( in order for viewing from external web browsing or iphone.
from Router or DSL: forward port 67, 68, new web port to  DVR's IP address )

external browsing:  go to  http://www.ip-adress.com/  , you will see the external IP of your home network.       copy the external IP,  and browsing by IE to view that external IP to see  if it works for your port forwarding.
